As part of a 552nd Air Control Wing safety stand down day, Tinker Fire & Emergency Services demonstrated for Airmen the dangers of improperly using a turkey fryer. Tinker Air Force Base recently hosted a Community College of the Air Force graduation ceremony. The ceremony recognized Airmen who graduated from Spring 2023 to Fall 2024. There were 157 CCAF graduates -- who contributed to a legacy of nearly 600,000 degrees in the program’s history. The graduates represent many Air Force commands on base to include: Air Force Materiel Command, Air Combat Command, Air Education and Training Command, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. Commanders from around the state met at Tinker Air Force Base recently for the Oklahoma Commanders Summit. Held in person for the first time in four years, the commanders and representatives from civilian agencies who work hand-in-hand with the military, discussed issues of common concern and best practices, as well as legislative issues in the state which affect the military, service members and their families. His team manages Group CSAG-M metrics, budgets, personnel actions, vehicle control, graphics, and admin functions. They develop workload plans, programs, policies, and use the Planned Labor Application for projections.?? When asked what motivates him to lead, Guthrie said that he is motivated daily by his team's hard work on their programs.
