It's official! Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) broke ground on the Albemarle Career Exploration (ACE) Academy at its Lambs Lane campus ?? Expanding on ACPS' Scholar Studios program, the new 60,000-square-foot facility will house 6 of the 12 new Scholar Studios and serve up to 400 high school students daily. Designed to help students explore career opportunities that align with their interests, each studio focuses on a specific course of study and offers hands-on experience in those fields. Timmons Group is honored to be on a team dedicated to shaping a space where students can discover, explore, and build their futures. This expansion marks our first location in Southwest Virginia, reinforcing our commitment to supporting clients and communities across the entire state of Virginia. As Black History Month comes to a close, we're celebrating the start of a new era in the Jackson Ward neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. Recognized as a hub of Black entrepreneurship and cultural heritage, the neighborhood faced significant challenges after the redirection of Interstate 95 through its core in the late 1950s. Now, through a collaboration with?The JXN Project?and local partners, Timmons Group is proud to support the long-awaited revitalization of this historic neighborhood. Timmons Group was proud to take part in the groundbreaking at Preserve at Gresham Lake earlier this month, which will create a 156-unit affordable housing community in Raleigh, North Carolina developed by LDG Development, LLC based in Louisville, Kentucky. The new complex will feature garden-style apartments across five buildings, including amenities such as a pool, a clubhouse, and a picnic area. The community will also provide a direct walking path to the Durant Nature Preserve, a 250-acre haven featuring trails, wildlife, and serene greenery. Timmons Group is honored to be on a team that is so invested in bringing affordable housing to our community.
