In April, we posed the question "Is GBS the Savior for Generative AI?" in our attached article published in?Shared Services and Outsourcing News.??The article outlined considerations for the operating model companies may adopt for Generative AI including the use of GBS.?McKinsey just released their own article on the operating model for Generative AI in the banking industry (https://lnkd.in/dYxFDAMN?).?In this article, they compared success in putting Generative AI use cases in production to the operating model for Generative AI ranging from highly centralized to highly decentralized for strategy, execution, and data and technology management.?At least for the banking industry, they found greater success (at least for now) in the highly centralized model.
