Introducing Cavs Rewards - the NBA's first open-loop rewards program that lets Cleveland Cavaliers fans earn points on everyday shopping! ?? ?? What makes this particularly special is the innovative technology we've built from the ground up. Fans can now earn Cavs points not just at games, but at their favorite local spots - from grabbing groceries at Giant Eagle to enjoying a slice at Jet's Pizza or picking up drinks from Great Lakes Brewing Company. The technical challenge of creating a seamless rewards experience across diverse merchants was daunting, but seeing fans already engaging with the platform makes it all worth it. We've built something that transforms the traditional sports loyalty model into a 365-day fan engagement engine. Big Announcement! ?? We're teaming up with Marlan Holding to form Orbitworks, the Middle East’s first private space infrastructure company! Orbitworks is a joint venture between Loft and Marlan Space focused on producing satellite constellations. With initial?funding?of over $100M, Orbitworks will leverage Loft's expertise in satellite integration, test, and operations. Together, Loft and Marlan Space will build out a satellite integration and test center in Abu Dhabi capable of producing smallsats up to 500kg. With Space Symposium lifting off this week, space leaders from around the world are coming together to explore how the latest advances in AI, cloud computing, and satellite technology can transform missions and power innovation at the edge. Microsoft’s Azure Space team has been busy collaborating with partners in government, industry, and academia to discover new ways to unlock earth observation data with AI on satellites - and last month, we launched our first on-orbit testbeds. Through our work on the IMAGIN-e mission with Thales Alenia Space, we’re also enabling the use of on-orbit AI models for climate research, while Loft Orbital is leveraging the Azure Orbital Space edge to demonstrate AI-based virtual missions on its new class of spacecraft, YAM-6. I'm excited about the new features incorporated into the Azure Orbital Space edge SDK (software development kit), making it easier for any developer to create and deploy on-orbit AI applications on our open standard platform. It’s all part of our mission to expand our space partner ecosystem and democratize access to space for enterprises and operators of all sizes!
