CD Peacock Flagship Mansion Our Interiors team proudly constructed the iconic CD Peacock Flagship Mansion at Oakbrook Center. This stunning 20,500-square-foot space reflects CD Peacock’s rich heritage, dating back to 1837, and its legacy of luxury in Chicago. With 3,500 square feet of specialty bent curtain wall glass, the exterior makes a bold statement, while the showroom design fuses global luxury concepts with modern functionality, providing an unforgettable experience. Architectural Design - JGA Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella Located at 330 N Wabash Ave in Chicago, this 49,561-square-foot workspace was designed to support nearly 70 attorneys with a layout that balances privacy and collaboration. Key features include recycled felt baffles, wood flooring, a steel-framed connecting stair, continuous glass office fronts with sliding doors, and lacquer millwork that enhances the conference center. TKB rings in the new year with expanded leadership. Michelle Bowman, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is elevated to principal. With twelve years of devotion and experience, Michelle will assume a more prominent external presence, focusing on executive-level project oversight, expanding and developing new markets, and strengthening TKB as the firm of choice for both clients and employees. Lancer Livermont, AIA, LEED AP is elevated to Director of Architecture. In this new role, Lancer will oversee all TKB projects, ensuring quality design, code compliance, sustainability goals, client responsiveness and overall QA/QC. He will continue managing complex projects while advancing training for all technical staff at Tilton, Kelly + Bell.

We value the collaboration and teamwork to make better possible for our client, Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella. The space is located on two connected floors of the historic Meis van der Rohe building. The changes align with current facility requirement in the legal industry while maintaining clear modernist lines of the building’s original architecture. The new office showcases how thoughtful design can affect everyday workplace dynamics, creating an office that works dilligently and collaboratively while also elevating spirits with access to sunlight and functional, comfortable, and modern work spaces. Crafted for inspiration, collaboration, and justice, we are also proud of the effort and results. Thank you to the project team for your expertise and skill!

We are excited to share that the junior leaders of Tilton, Kelly + Bell, ictoria Grzyb and Mengying Qi, have actively engaged the emerging professionals of AIA Illinois to share TKB’s innovative design solutions for the historic Illinois State Armory Building in Springfield. Originally built in 1936 as a WPA project, the Armory has served as a drill hall, convention site, sports and entertainment venue, and home to the National Guard, State Police, and other agencies. After sitting idle since 2010, this iconic building is now on its way to being restored and renovated. We are proud to be part of this important project to bring new life to a historic landmark.
