For our final Women’s History Month feature and #tilsontuesdays employee spotlight, meet Heather Terranova! Heather is an Assistant Project Manager for our Outside Plant operations, responsible for the planning, tracking, and reporting of large fiber construction projects. This work allows our field crews to focus on doing their work safely and efficiently, bringing fiber internet to homes and businesses across the country. Heather’s keen attention to detail and project management skills ensures we meet project schedules and that our teams have the resources needed to build the fastest, most reliable networks. Heather isn't the first in her family to work in the telecom industry, "My mom, who is no longer with us, worked at AT&T. She was one of the strongest women I know, beating cancer multiple times before passing away. I'm proud to continue her legacy." Her team’s primary goal is to expand broadband access and improve digital equity across the country by guiding public and private sector clients through planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining cost-effective broadband networks. In her role as Principal Consultant, Heather guides clients through the complex funding and grant landscape, helping private entities, municipalities, and states secure and use funding to improve internet access for underserved and unserved communities. “We do good work and do it with integrity and respect for each other and our clients,” Heather said about working at Tilson. “I’m impressed every day how our values shine through and make us better – I find joy every day in working with some of the best in the business.” Thank you, Heather, for sharing your wealth of knowledge with our clients.
