The Department of Energy's Advanced Materials and Manufacturing Technologies Office has awarded funds to companies engaged in hard drive disassembly, rare earth magnet recovery, hydrometallurgy and e-plastics recycling. More companies are invited to apply this year. The first round includes projects from Infinite Elements, Inc; Garner Products; Tikal Industries; RareTerra Inc.; Insource Materials, LLC; Critical Materials Recycling; the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign; Galvanix.

We were all *today years old* when women were declared to have equal rights under the Constitution. President Joe Biden has declared the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) as ratified, making it the 28th Amendment of the Constitution. The ERA guarantees all Americans equal rights and protections under the law, regardless of sex. To be clear: women did not have equal civil rights under the U.S. Constitution until today. This is momentous.
