#TeamTigheBond gathered in our offices across the Northeast to celebrate #PiDay while raising money for charity for our 3rd Annual National Pi Day for a Cause Celebration. As a result of the celebration, we raised over $1,700 to benefit Northeast Wilderness Trust, a regional conservation nonprofit that protects more than 85,000 acres of land across New England and New York. #MakeADifference

Brewster Woods is an affordable multi-family housing development offering 30 apartments in Brewster, MA. Our team provided civil/site planning and design services, including the design of the wastewater and stormwater management systems. Structural engineering services were also provided for the two wood-framed building structures. In addition to Brewster Woods, we are serving on the project teams for other housing projects on Cape Cod to increase #affordablehousing opportunities for residents.

Our team has increasingly been involved in vital community work to mitigate climate change risks and address its impacts in vulnerable coastal areas such as Cape Cod, MA. Our team recently completed environmental assessments for the ongoing #redevelopment of the former Gilbert and Bennett Wire Mill in Redding, CT that is a registered #brownfield site requiring remediation. We have provided site/civil, permitting, environmental, and construction phase services for the ongoing redevelopment efforts. We are currently working with the Town of Redding and the Gilbert & Bennett Oversight Committee to develop a conceptual remedial action plan to evaluate different redevelopment scenarios for the five parcels making up the site. https://ow.ly/78Nu50Vf6hm #industrial

Our Complete Streets rehabilitation of Washington Street in Brookline, Massachusetts is moving forward to the MassDOT 25% Design stage, following approval by the town’s Select Board. The design includes operational and safety improvements for all users – pedestrians, bicyclists, micro-mobility users, transit riders, public safety vehicles, and motorists – to provide safe and accessible #transportation options from Washington Square to Brookline Village as part of this project funded through the MassDOT State Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). https://ow.ly/FPlk50Vbhw1
