Christopher Williams is the founder of Tiggo Care, an award-winning home care business in London that supports adults living in their own homes. Tiggo Care was born out of his own personal experiences, following his struggle to find suitable care for his parents, both of whom lived with rare diseases. It was this experience that prompted him to set up his own organisation – one that would not only support and care for people with mainstream diseases but also those with more unfamiliar conditions. Previously Chris worked as a strategy consultant at Kearney and as a venture capitalist at Oxford Sciences Enterprises. He has a BA in Human Sciences and an MSc in Epidemiology from Oxford University. Around 3.5 million people live with a rare disease in the UK. Getting the right support and home care can be vital.
