    Unlocking Growth with the Theory of Constraints Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend an incredible SAMA and SRMA-sponsored event featuring Rami Goldratt, CEO of Goldratt Consulting , who delivered a transformational presentation on the Theory of Constraints—a methodology pioneered by his father, Eli Goldratt, and made famous in the book The Goal. The event was held at Suncoast Technical College, North Port, FL Campus, where culinary students served breakfast to the group while honing their craft—an inspiring reminder that continuous learning and refinement apply to all industries. Having spent years in manufacturing, it was clear that the Theory of Constraints (TOC) is not just an principle confined within manufacturing operations—it has powerful applications across every aspect of a business. As I listened and took notes, I saw how the theory validated a key truth: alignment across the business is essential for sustainable growth. Experts within an organization must be empowered to structure and standardize workflows, provide training, and drive productivity, ensuring that every function—from operations to revenue generation—is optimized for success.
