This past weekend, TiCK MiTT had the privilege of being one of the sponsors for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons's Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk, celebrating ARF’s 50th anniversary! ARF is a vital organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of cats and dogs, and their annual Dog Walk raises essential funds to support these life-saving efforts. It was a pleasure to see so many pet lovers come together to support such an important cause. After the walk, we continued the weekend at the beautiful Maidstone Hotel, where we joined The Purist and Cristina Cuomo for a wellness event held in conjunction with the Hamptons International Film Festival. TiCK MiTT was honored to be a vendor, promoting tick prevention and safety for pets and their owners. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by! We loved meeting you and your pups, and we’re thrilled to continue spreading awareness about the importance of tick safety as we look forward to all that's ahead.?

Last night, I had the immense honor of being recognized alongside my father, Steven Abrams, at the Project Lyme Gala. As member of the Emerging Leader Board of Project Lyme, this recognition is incredibly meaningful as we continue our work in the Lyme disease community, particularly with the creation of TiCK MiTT. Looking toward the future, I’m dedicated to expanding our efforts, partnering with government officials, and ensuring Lyme disease prevention is a top priority. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those affected by this disease. A huge thank you to Cristina Cuomo for emceeing the evening, to Olivia Flowers for sharing her inspiring story, and to Monica Embers for her continued research and advocacy. I also want to thank Noah Johnston, Alexandra Moresco, and Kim Strother for organizing such a successful event—your dedication to this cause is truly inspiring. Today we joined U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand at the Quogue Wildlife Refuge to address the pressing issue of tick-borne illnesses. In the midst of tick season, Senator Gillibrand announced her push for federal funding to advance research on these critical health threats. During the event, we also had the opportunity to introduce Senator Gillibrand to TiCK MiTT and discuss the need for safe and preventative tick products. We were honored to be joined by esteemed participants, including Alexandra Moresco, Board Chair of Project Lyme; Dr. Jorge Benach; Suffolk County Executive Edward Romaine and Suffolk County Legislator Ann Welker. Today’s press conference underscored the urgent need for tick research and highlighted the collaborative efforts required to combat these health challenges.
