Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a AAA Four Diamond award-winning casino and resort in Lincoln, California, 30 miles (48 km) east of Sacramento. It is owned by the United Auburn Indian Community and opened in June 2003. Thunder Valley was the first full Las Vegas-style casino in Northern California. The 275,000-square-foot (25,550 m2) facility offers a variety of gaming including more than 3,000 slot machines and video machines, 100 table games (including blackjack, paigow, etc.), an expansive Bingo Room, and live poker for up to 450 players. The casino regularly holds promotions and special events including drawings, cash prizes, and tournaments. The property features a gift shop along with 19 bars and restaurants for every taste. The expansion completed in July 2010 includes a 17-story, luxury hotel with 297 rooms including 40 well-appointed suites. The hotel also offers meeting rooms, a state-of-the art fitness center, and the luxurious Coconut Pool + Bar with private cabana and lounger rentals in season. Scheduled to open in early 2023, The Venue at Thunder Valley is a sophisticated 4,500-seat, cutting-edge entertainment venue hosting the hottest musical acts, comedic performances, and sporting events along with space for events, conferences and banquets.
