Congratulations to the Cath Lab team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on successfully completing their first single-session PE intervention with the Bashir catheter. This novel approach allowed the patient to bypass the ICU and receive only 8mg of tPA in a procedure that lasted less than twenty-five minutes.
