Thrive Philanthropy is thrilled to unveil our new Board of Directors. Hailing from 9 countries and 6 continents, this dynamic global co-leadership team brings a rich diversity of perspectives and lived experiences, coupled with expertise in organization governance, food systems, equitable philanthropy, and more. It was an intensive 4-month recruitment journey, with a surprisingly overwhelming response and twice as many applications than expected, sitting as a testament that Thrive Philanthropy is filling an important niche in the global food systems funding space. We are deeply honored to embark on this new chapter of co-leadership with such an exceptional group. Together, we'll propel Thrive Philanthropy to new heights, so Thrive can empower even more global changemakers through equitable grantmaking, and accelerate alternatives to factory farming by fostering just, sustainable, plant-based food systems worldwide. Thrive Philanthropy, one year in, remains an all-women, BIPOC-majority staff, and one of the first organizations in the vegan funding space to be led by a Native American woman. Using Trust-Based Philanthropy and equitable funding approaches, we've granted 70+ countries to organizations working to create just, sustainable plant-based food systems. And our exponentially growing Thrive Africa department offers capacity support to over 260 registered members and grants dozens of Africa-based organizations each year. If you'd like to be a part of this journey with us, please feel welcome to donate here https://lnkd.in/e7MKDXnA or apply for a grant here: https://lnkd.in/g8A9KCxd Onwards to the incredible journey ahead!
