We’ve been thrown into the deep waters of change, and the truth is, there are no lifeguards, no structured programs, no definitive guidebook on how to navigate this moment with humanity and care. No single "right" or "wrong" doctrine to follow. Maybe that’s not a bad thing. Maybe this is an opportunity to stop reacting on autopilot—to pause, feel our heartbeats, and examine our stories and assumptions before passing judgment. To listen more, beyond the surface labels of race, gender, body size, or pedigree.

I’m holding onto this stillness because beyond my Montana snow globe, things feel anything but calm. Everything—politics, policies, the world—feels chaotic, unpredictable, and unsettling. I hesitate to step into those conversations. There’s so much fear, anger, and judgment swirling around, and I find myself wary of adding to it. But even from the quiet of my snow-covered world, I can see the sweeping changes - cuts that strip protection from those without wealth or power, jobs lost, communities shaken with fear. The weight of it all is hard to ignore. How do I stay rooted in love when so much of what I see is fear, grief, and uncertainty??

I didn’t vote for Trump. I did what I could to prevent this path. And yet, I also recognize my responsibility in where we are now.? What I can do - what I will do - is continue to engage, to build dialogue, to bring as much heart as I can to every conversation. As I listen, I’m struck by the deep threads of fear, conspiracy, and rigid beliefs on all sides. Sometimes, I don’t even know how to respond because the narratives I hear feel so far from my own reality. But I can feel the pain, the anger, and - yes - the truth people hold in their convictions.??

We’ve seen it time and again: when people come together in genuine dialogue, transformation happens. It’s not always pretty, and the outcomes don’t always align neatly with metrics or spreadsheets. But more often than not, those results follow. And beyond the numbers, there’s something far more valuable: a sense of connection, a spark of possibility, a way forward.??
