Healthy eating is for everyone, and it doesn’t have to be complicated, expensive or dull. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan to create the Thrive Global Cookbook — designed to make nutritious eating simple, joyful and accessible for everyone. This cookbook features over 60 delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks, and globally inspired dishes from celebrity chefs like José Andrés, Ina Garten, and more. It also includes healthy swaps and Microsteps curated by Tess Bredesen, Thrive’s Nutrition Director, to make healthy eating budget-friendly, fun and achievable. The Thrive Global Foundation has also teamed up with SharkNinja to distribute kitchen appliances like blenders, food processors and cookware, to help people prepare these nourishing recipes with ease. From improving sleep to managing stress, healthy eating impacts so many areas of our well-being. The Thrive Global Cookbook takes the intimidation out of getting started and makes healthy eating easier for everyone. Access the free cookbook here: https://lnkd.in/eCfrTm3f

Try this #Microstep this week: Once a day, take a moment to reflect on one thing you’re grateful for. Gratitude is a way to break the cycle of cumulative stress. Think about a person you love, a bright spot in your life, a great dinner you made, or something you’re looking forward to. ??

Through the Thrive Challenge, people like Andres Guedez are transforming their lives — one Microstep at a time. Originally from Venezuela, Andres came to the U.S. with his father, facing financial challenges and the stress of missing family back home. At first, he struggled to prioritize his health, but with the Thrive Challenge, he discovered the power of small, meaningful changes. By cooking meals that connect him to his roots, building friendships, and rediscovering his love for soccer, Andres has regained resilience, joy, and a sense of community. His story reminds us that small actions — like moving more, spending time with loved ones, and practicing gratitude — can help us build a fulfilling life, no matter where we are. The first Microstep Brice Driggers took in his Thrive Challenge journey was simple: drink less soda and more water. From there, he continued making small, sustainable changes to improve his health — like swapping out junk food for healthier snacks, taking walks with his dog, and getting active with his kids. As he embraced mindful eating and movement, Brice found the energy and stamina he never thought possible. “I feel like Superman,” he says. “I know I’ll be here for my kids and someday, hopefully, for my grandkids too. This journey isn’t just about losing weight, it’s about making better decisions. It’s like being in a different world. Oh man, I feel alive.” Brice’s story is a great reminder that when we commit to small changes, we can improve our well-being and create a life full of joy and connection.
