  • Last week, we had the privilege of supporting student journalist Evan Neubauer in covering the 2025 Summit League Championships in Sioux Falls. Evan’s team at The Crest (thecrest.news) was the only Minnesota news outlet reporting on the University of St. Thomas's historic first trip to the championship game. She had the opportunity to photograph from the sidelines, film on-court reports, and create content for social media alongside journalists from CBS, ESPN, and universities nationwide. Reflecting on the experience, Evan shared, "I got to witness the incredible atmosphere of working at a major tournament and was pushed to deliver high-quality, efficient coverage under pressure with my team. I also had the chance to connect with seasoned reporters, broadcasters, creators, and athletes. Thanks to ThreeSixty Journalism, I was able to test and grow my skills as a multimedia reporter during this historic moment in sports." Are you a ThreeSixty alum working at your college news outlet? We’re here to help you access reporting opportunities. Reach out!
