??Insights on Employee Retention ??
Over the past 18 months our annualized employee turnover rate has dropped from 26% to 1.9%. Find the right person, ask them to join your team. Traditional recruiting and/or Human resources are designed to rule out people. That process is negative for 99% of the interactions. The application is ruled out, the interview is not successful, the process is drawn out. Those who are not selected become at best, neutral regarding your org and a large number are walking away from the process in a negative state of grace. Invest the time and energy up front in your own staff's wellbeing and by extension every professional contact they have. Over time you'll see a steady stream of screened interested professionals who are a good fit, approach your organization informally and formally. Then invest time in finding out their aspirations and support them. It's a simple effective strategy that is difficult and requires a long-term commitment. Ask yourself, are you doing what everyone else does or making a commitment to your people and their wellbeing.

BASIN, WY, NOVEMBER 21, 2024 – THREE RIVERS HEALTH has been named Wyoming’s 2024 “Community Star” by the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH). On the third Thursday of November, NOSORH leads National Rural Health Day (NRHD), an annual celebration that shines a light on those who serve the vital health needs of the nearly 61 million people living in rural America. Three Rivers Health will be featured prominently on the official NRHD website, PowerOfRural.org, on November 21, 2024, alongside other Community Stars from across the nation. This platform will showcase each Star’s remarkable dedication and contributions to rural healthcare. The Wyoming Office of Rural Health is proud to join NOSORH in honoring Three Rivers Health as Wyoming's Community Star. “The last year has been remarkable in that we had six days of cash in June of 2023. The facility was in danger of closing. The team and our community worked together to re-imagine what our needs are and worked diligently to focus on patient care.” states Joel Jackson, CEO. ???????????????? In 2015, the Community Star Recognition Program was established in conjunction with NRHD to tell the stories of the people and organizations who make a difference in rural communities.
