Working together in person is always preferred, but not usually possible when we're based in multiple cities. Thankfully, we've learned to excel virtually on tasks we traditionally needed to be in person for. Like the rest of the world, we became used to virtual work during the pandemic. But now it's something we see as an asset rather than an obstacle. Here we were today doing some virtual edits for our original film REWRITING THE SENTENCE. We're frequently in edit virtually, but our team has also directed and produced shoots virtually, which includes conducting countless interviews through a screen. We'll always try to be face-to-face, but we've learned to be extremely nimble in a virtual world. Reach out to inquire more. We can lend a hand no matter where you are across the globe! Our final in-person shoot for 2024 was appropriately festive. Along with Sam Coates, we had the privilege to livestream the New Hope Christian Academy Christmas concert at the Harding Academy of Memphis. Being able to enjoy the holiday season with great people is work we'd never pass up. This was a great gig to help us wind down for the year and get in the holiday spirit. We hope everyone else has a great, relaxing holiday as well!

We really enjoyed filming with mark montgomery at W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville last week. For 40 years, W.O. Smith has made affordable, quality music instruction available to children from low-income families. We're humbled to play even just a tiny role in their story as they continue their mission for another 40+. The school is always looking for talented and generous people to help bring music to Nashville youth. We'd encourage anyone to reach out to them directly to learn more, or reach out to us at [email protected]

A little peek behind the curtain ?? We had a great time shooting with our friend Sam Coates of Driven By Sam Coates and the Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South. The setting made for some awesome shots with an awesome client. Be on the lookout for more BTS from us soon as we tackle some of our final shoots of 2025.

Sometimes one frame is all you need to capture a feeling. In addition to our storytelling work in film, we also love to capture subjects and stories in photography. Send us a message to learn more – we’d love to hear your vision and execute it. Thanks to Britney Schweitzer, Khadeil Ergas, MBA, Nicky Swizzie Small and many others for trusting us with their image

A short while ago, Three Piece Films had the opportunity to film a series of interviews for a corporate documentary. This was the perfect time to test out some new lighting gear we just purchased. Below is Berkeley C. Burbank ALCO CEO as Sam Coates of Driven By Sam Coates interviews him. We filmed a total of five subjects for this shoot. Follow our page to see more great looking frames from the shoot.

Ray McCullough wants to be a helping hand. Ray made mistakes when he was younger – leading him to prison – but has dedicated his adult life to making a more positive impact. He has found that in large part through business. With his company Helping Hands Commercial Tire, Ray prides himself on a personal touch in roadside assistance and fleet services. It's why the company's slogan is "we'll keep you rolling" – because Ray wants to be a person who can be there to help. Want to see more stories like Ray's? Reach out at [email protected]

Sometimes something has to go wrong before something goes right. Years ago, Susannah Hoelter Lago took inventory of what was important to her and what she wanted out of a career. It started with a layoff, but that misfortune spurred reinvention and led to creating Style Up Group ? – a mobile pop-up event and styling company based in Milwaukee. We loved getting to know her and her business. Stories like Susannah's not only make for a great video piece, but inspire us to keep pushing whenever we face a perceived "failure." Want to see more stories like this? Reach out and let's talk! [email protected]

Work/life balance is difficult to get right. Eva and Megan Pazdera figured it out by following their passions. In creating High Def Health – their own athletic training business – they've found a space to be fulfilled in their work, but more importantly, the space to be fulfilled as parents as well. Achieving that freedom and flexibility wouldn't have been possible without a strong drive and the willingness to take risks. Hearing Eva and Megan explain how they created such a purposeful life is a nice little reminder that any of us can do the same. https://lnkd.in/ewVDBz-P
