Irish Quarter… my favorite development deal to date! This deal stands out not just for the project, but for the people and the unique blend of business and pro sports in real estate. It’s inspiring to see athletes and business leaders come together to invest in communities like South Bend. Our founding vision for Three Leaf Partners, sparked by Pat Connaughton, was for NBA and pro athletes to invest alongside business leaders in real estate. Awesome to now see it being replicated by the Golden Legacy Partners team but with NFL athletes. What makes the deal even more rewarding - the man leading the charge for Golden Legacy - Josh Lugg, who was a former Three Leaf Partners intern. The Fitz represents?smart growth and preservation, blending modern living with the rich architectural character of the neighborhood. Three Leaf Partners and DeMichele Company, LLC acquired excess land from neighboring St. Mark’s Episcopal Church which in turn helped facilitate funding for the church’s parish hall rebuild making this development a true win-win for everyone involved. The project faced zoning challenges and historic requirements, but through innovation, perseverance, and a commitment to thoughtful urban development, The Fitz is now a?catalyst for vibrancy and economic activity?in the area.
