? Staff Spotlight?? ? Meet Lauren Lee, a research associate at THRC! Lauren brings expertise in interpersonal and health communication, patient-provider interactions, and resilience processes. She earned both her B.A. and M.A. from The Department of Communication Studies at Texas State University and is now a doctoral candidate at Rutgers University, where her dissertation explores resilience communication between partners coping with chronic and invisible illnesses.? ? Lauren also serves as the program facilitator for Understanding Indicators of Mental Health (UIMH), a Virtual Learning Network in partnership with THRC. UIMH connects experts with mental health practitioners, advocates, and stakeholders to address substance use, suicide, and stigma among at-risk populations.? ?
