?? Breakthrough in Sternal Reconstruction! Thoragenix Innovations Inc is excited to share Dr. Pouya Hemmati's first ThoraPutty IRM case review, marking a significant step forward in addressing complex sternal repairs. During a CABG procedure, minimal retraction with the LIMA retractor (Rultrac) led to a sternal crack and the loss of a portion of the posterior shelf of the manubrium. #ThoraPuttyIRM, an osteogenic bone matrix, was applied to fill the hollow space, supporting new bone growth. The reconstruction was then completed with wires and plates, achieving excellent structural integrity and healing potential. This case highlights the transformative role of ThoraPutty IRM in sternal reconstruction offering surgeons a reliable, bone-generating solution for even the most fragile sternums.
