The new Inova Health Center – Oakville in Alexandria, Virginia has opened its doors to provide emergency care, imaging, ambulatory surgery to the growing neighborhood and beyond. Designed by Ballinger and Ennead Architects and completed in late 2024, this 100,000-square-foot center is part of Inova's initiative to expand healthcare services in Northern Virginia. A standout feature is the building's green roof and amenity deck that help contribute to the overall sustainability goals of Inova Health. These spaces not only enhance the aesthetics but also support environmental health by reducing stormwater runoff and promoting biodiversity. 14,600 square feet of critical hospital space is being protected with the Garden Roof® and Ultimate Assembly® with an additional 19,600 square feet of plaza waterproofing anchored by Hydrotech® Monolithic Membrane 6125®. The Glens Falls Market Center Pavilion is at the heart of the downtown revitalization investments occurring in this town just south of Lake George, New York.
