My colleague Josh Hegstrom and I, together with a few other Manufacturing Reps just completed a 2-day training at Security Door Controls in Camarillo, California. We learned about their electromagnetic locks, delayed Egress, Electrified mortise and cylindrical locksets, exit devices, retrofit ELR kits and much more. Did you know they are a leader in Delayed Egress and Latch Retraction? They make anything and everything to do with door controls, AND they are made right here in the USA (no tariffs!). We took a tour of their spacious facility, including the factory floor, and saw firsthand how they are made. They do everything in-house, from design to finish. Just incredible!
