Thomas R. Brigandi Foundation

The Thomas R. Brigandi Foundation is a domestic not-for-profit corporation that was founded in January 2023 as the convener of Tom Brigandi's philanthropic efforts and three annual events for the investment community: (1) Summer Social & Mid-Year Investment Outlook, (2) Holiday Reception & Forward Year Investment Outlook, (3) Alternative Investments Symposium the first week each April. Sponsorship from the three annual events, coupled with private donations to the Foundation over the course of the year, will be used to amplify Tom Brigandi's personal donations to the below causes: 1) To empower socioeconomic advancement of New York City college students who are Pell Grant recipients - accomplished by making restricted fund grants to endowed Pell Grant Enhanced Opportunities Funds administered by the Macaulay Honors College at the City University of New York Foundation 2) To support environmental conservation efforts - accomplished by making restricted fund grants to The Ocean Foundation 3) To facilitate the rehabilitation of educational facilities in emerging and frontier market nations - accomplished by making restricted fund grants to the American Foundation for African Children's Education (AFACE) 4) To provide a forum for the exchange of information aligned with the core beliefs of the Thomas R. Brigandi Foundation among investment professionals - accomplished by hosting multiple Thomas R. Brigandi Foundation events per year, in addition to providing funding to non-profit organizations such as the Bretton Woods Committee, The Economic Club of New York and the Milken Institute, among other non-profit organizations.
