We had a great time hosting seventh graders from New Hanover County Schools at our jobsite in Autumn Hall last week as part of the Career and Leadership Development Academy! Our Career and Leadership Development Academy, in partnership with New Hanover County Schools, kicked off this month and it's been a huge success so far! Seventh grade students in NHCS are getting a closer look at various career opportunities and key industries in our community. The primary goals of the CLDA are to develop and retain young workers, showcase fast-growing career pathways in the community, build leadership and employability skills, and prioritize the development of durable skills as outlined in NC DPI's The North Carolina Portrait of a Graduate.
