With the new Society6 site launch now live, we asked Brit Tucker VP, Head of Product and eCommerce to share her thoughts about working with Pattern on this major initiative over the past year. We initially engaged them to lead the redesign for our website, but ended up with a thoughtful and strategic partnership that extended beyond just new UX/UI for our site. Every step of the project tied back to the research, including expanding our personas, refining our values, and layering in pulses of focus groups and user testing throughout the project." What is the difference between “brand” and “user experience”? These days, when done right, they are intertwined. At Pattern, we consider UX as much of a brand differentiator as visual design, voice or mission. If a customer does not feel engaged or “good” while shopping, then that hurts brand perception.
