Excited to see 60 Decibels spotlighted in Harvard Business Review as pioneers in impact measurement. 60 Decibels partnered with Bayer | Crop Science to evaluate their Better Life Farming program which works to amplify the voices of real farmers and accurately measure social impact at scale. The results validated BLF's effectiveness and informed plans to scale and deepen services, with an emphasis on consistent communication, more frequent training, and farm infrastructure support. “To measure that societal impact, Bayer contracted with 60 Decibels, an independent social impact measurement company, to evaluate how smallholders assessed the benefits from the company’s innovative agriculture programs. 60 Decibels performed extensive research to identify the most important themes in farmers’ lives. Its continuous learning process, aligned with global frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Impact Management Project (IMP), produced standardized questions designed to yield actionable insights that guide program improvements.
