This is Jane Project is partnering with PAX and Native Roots Cannabis Co. for a Day of Action in Denver this Veteran's Day. This event aims to provide a safe, supportive space where women and non-binary individuals can access low-cost cannabis, and feel empowered to take charge of our well-being while celebrating the resilience that unites us. If you are a woman or non-binary trauma survivor interested in attending, please register using the link in the comments. Registration is required for this event. Pax & Native Roots will also host a separate event to support Veterans at their Littleton location. Registration will not be required for this event. Product will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis for all veterans.

Your support of $500 will go towards providing low-to-no-cost programming for Janes - we can not thank you enough?CannaContent??? More about CannaContent - CannaContent takes the expertise of award-winning journalists and big-brand creatives and applies it to the cannabis industry. "If you use cannabis to manage symptoms of PTSD, the latest research backs you up. A 2022 study found that cannabis consumers were?2.57 times more likely?to recover from PTSD than survivors who didn’t partake. But cannabis is a diverse plant species that can produce wide-ranging effects—some of which are a better fit for post-traumatic stress disorder than others." https://lnkd.in/g4B7B_bu #thisisjaneproject #janesjournal #blog #ptsd

2 Years ago TIJP was recognized in the LA Times for our Los Angeles compassion program, Survivors Without Access. Now, we are in the planning stages to launch in 2 additional cities (Chicago, IL + Bellmawr, NJ) to bring this medicine to women and non-binary trauma survivors in 2024. This work serves as a much-needed reminder to keep compassion in cannabis! Are you a community organization in either city that knows of folks who could use an access point to cannabis? If so, we'd love to connect. #nonprofitwork #compassionatecannabis #patientsfirst #safeaccess #thisisjaneproject
Biggest thank you to the LA times for highlighting the work of This is Jane Project, Weed For Warriors Project , Dear Cannabis; and other organizations dedicated to compassionate cannabis. And, to Eaze & Nicole Redler for their continued support of nonprofit work. #thisisjaneproject #SB34 #compassionatecare #cannabisismedicine

High, I am Jane. ?? Who is Jane you ask? Jane is a self-identified woman or non-binary trauma survivor. And I am woman, I am fearless and I am define! ?? Trauma comes in many forms and we all manage our trauma the best way we know how. For me, the use of plant medicine has given me life. Being able to use this beautiful plant and RSO capsules during my chemo treatments literally kept me from being nauseated all the time. It helps me get out of my head, and relief random pains that I have. There are also certain strains I smoke that help me sleep, which I’m forever thankful for, cause I struggle some nights. But everyday I wake up thankful to breathe in fresh air and just happy to be mfking living this life! ?????? Please don’t let trauma destroy the incredible human you are! You are not alone and there are groups of women, like This is Jane Project and Pink Sesh Society, that show so much love and support. Even when it feels like I’m alone in this world at times, I know that I’m not and that I have so many badass women and some incredible dudes in my corner cheering me on, getting me high and helping me live this beautiful life!
