Heads up that Hawaii is changing its GET policy. Entertainment payroll is evolving and will change in some exciting ways. How so? I share my thoughts on: ?? How technology is allowing accountants to better manage the demands of production. Whether they’re remote or on location, they will be increasingly able to use their team’s time to contribute in the most valuable ways to promote and support production accountants in analyzing the numbers or doing cost projections for their producers. ?? Why the increasing importance of cost savings will only accelerate. ?? The role AI might play in production finance data entry, but without replacing the human element. ?? And on how the implementation of geolocation has the potential to reduce possible consternation and even contention at times when it comes to timecards, digital or otherwise.
