Caring less isn't a solution, or really an option. A lot of us in the industry are the type that care too much about the thing they're working on, whether it deserves it or not. And the attachment and obsession that can create such heartbreak when projects don't go well is the same that enables them to succeed.

It's a great time to be in technology. NVIDIA not only is riding the wave of their once "only used for gaming" GPUs now being the leading silicon for ML (and yes, I'm a luddite and stick to the term ML vs AI as it's still obviously much the former) is now the leader in addressing the networking latency issues that large distributed ML systems have exposed which, will possibly supplant our current networking technologies. Their jumping into the networking space is impressive as they're poised to quickly surpass what has been done in the HPC space in an impressively short amount of time. https://lnkd.in/eFSqhh68
