Meet Riley Colon and Jordan Prado, two shining examples of generosity and kindness from Stepinac High School's Class of '24. These seniors, hailing from Yonkers, alongside their peers, have made a remarkable impact in our community through the "A Helping Hand" Club. Together, they've crafted and distributed 120 care bags to support homeless individuals in need, thanks to the wonderful efforts of Lifting Up Westchester. Inside each bag contains essentials like warm socks, thermal blankets, hand and feet warmers, breakfast bars, snacks, and bottled water. Their dedication didn't stop there—these remarkable students ran a bake sale to fund these care packages, showcasing not just their hearts, but also their entrepreneurial spirit. Let's applaud Riley, Jordan, and the entire A Helping Hand Club for embodying the spirit of compassion and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
