关于我们
The Wond'ry, located at the center of Vanderbilt University and adjacent to the Engineering and Science Building, plays a pivotal role in building and strengthening creativity across campus, which fosters innovation in all fields while forging a “maker” culture. The Wond'ry is the epicenter for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship on campus where discovery and learning are unleashed in an inclusive environment. Students and faculty are encouraged to build, innovate, explore and care. Here, our campus community, as a result, turns abstract ideas into realities that make a difference in people’s lives.

Dear Wond’ry participants, mentors, enthusiasts, supporters, For the last eight years, the Wond’ry has excelled at helping the Vanderbilt community turn ideas into realities. Its faculty, staff and state-of-the-art facilities offer unmatched support by training students in design thinking, innovation, rapid prototyping and concept development. And now, the Wond’ry enters a new era of disruptive thinking and innovation as Vanderbilt University has announced plans to move the Wond’ry within the School of Engineering. Rest assured, students from across the university will continue to find robust support for refining ideas at the Wond’ry. With its core strengths in innovation, ideation, human-centered design and maker activities, including prototyping and product development, Engineering is a natural alignment that will allow us to sharpen what we do best and reach more students in the process. Understandably, this move necessitates some organizational changes, and we thank you in advance for your support. We look forward to sharing more details as they become available, and as always, it is our great pleasure to be your partner in bringing ideas to life. David A. Owens, PhD Evans Family Executive Director of the Wond’ry.
