Meet Nicholas Galanin! ?? Galanin is known for poignant works that examine the complexities of contemporary Indigenous identity and representation. As a Lingít and Unangax artist, Galanin addresses the impact of colonialism on Indigenous culture, responding to collective amnesia with works rooted in connection to land. His Triennial project will be a transformative addition to the Boston landscape this year! “The timeline of totemic work understands that the work survives alongside the community . . .
