Healthcare in Action (HIA) is a not-for-profit medical group focused on providing primary care via street medicine to unhoused individuals. HIA uses a managed care model, partnering with health plans, municipalities and hospital systems in the communities it serves, to provide sustainable care to its patient population. Since it's founding in 2021, HIA has grown to serve thousands of patients in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Mateo and Orange counties.
