Today, I had the privilege of participating in a wonderful volunteer event alongside my fellow members of the Society of Bar & Gavel! We joined forces with Food Rescue US South Florida and The Salvation Army of Miami-Dade County to help redistribute food to members of the Miami community just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was truly special to connect with members of our community and share in this meaningful experience. Seeing the University of Miami School of Law so well represented at the event made it even more inspiring—what an amazing group of people to work alongside! A huge thank-you to everyone who came out and helped make this event such a success! Special shoutouts to: - Mikey Shahinian, our incredible Bar & Gavel Service Chair, for organizing Miami Law’s participation and making sure everything ran smoothly! - Stephen Chang, for being the best avocado-sorting partner I could’ve asked for! - Madison Borkovich and Helen Elizabeth Giles for the awesome pictures! Attorneys and business professionals in Dinsmore’s Miami office recently volunteered with the local Salvation Army chapter for their Dinsmore Day of Service. For 110 years, The Salvation Army of Miami-Dade County has served the area, providing vital health and human service needs for people in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. Our volunteers helped with organizing donations and preparing meals for the families The Salvation Army serves through its five locations in the area.?
