Coming off of a great week in Nashville for the Music Biz conference! Not only was it great to see so many friends and colleagues, but we had the pleasure of engaging with meaningful topics that matter to the music industry. One of the biggest items on our collective radar: AI, and what it means for the future of music. At The Rights, Inc., we know that it’s all about the data; knowing who owns what is extremely valuable, especially when it comes to ethical AI training and how attribution works in this new world. We’re genuinely excited about the implications of AI and well-positioned to offer our support as the data and licensing backbone for the music industry. I started talking to Tres Williams about merging our companies about a year ago. We knew that there was synergy between our respective products and our shared goal of simplifying sync licensing, so it was a natural fit.
