This sounds like a moment for Hemp fiber to shine and replace existing uses for forestry products ??
Amazon launching a carbon credit platform is a huge deal. Another interesting note is that 30% of emissions stem from deforestation. I was not expecting that at all. That is a stunningly high number. One might ask, why not just stop cutting down trees? Well, it's not that simple. The entire world relies on wood, and breaking down the biggest markets: 1 - Construction Industry 2 - Furniture Manufacturing 3 - Pulp and Paper Industry 4 - Packaging Sector 5 - Energy and Biomass Market All of these businesses are a necessity to modern life. You cannot just stop. How do we change? Well, it starts by evaluating what feedstocks work here. In construction, think OSB or 2x4. Furniture, think the structures of everything. We would need a new material that not only performs as well, but is cheap. What if farm products could solve this problem? While cutting costs. Hemp fiber is unique in that it can be grown locally with little water. It is high-performance and very inexpensive. If we solve the demand for forestry, we solve the forestry problem.
