The gender pay gap hasn’t changed much in the last twenty years. According to the Pew Research Center, in 2022 women earned an average of 82% of what men earned. Compared to 2002, when women earned 80% as much as men. When asked about contributing factors to the gender wage gap, half of U.S. adults (50%) consider women being treated differently by employers as the major cause. 42% believe women make different choices to balance work and family. And 34% point to women working in less-paying jobs. *Please note that these figures are averages and actual costs may fluctuate based on factors like location, brand, or specific retailers. For the past few months, I’ve been attending the Lean In Circle with The Poderosas to grow as a leader—and every session has been a step forward in my evolution. Leadership isn’t just about titles or expertise; it’s about creating impact, fostering inclusion, and lifting others as we rise. Our latest session was a major highlight for me in my journey. Having allyship for women in the workplace was a powerful reminder of the role we all play in mentorship, sponsorship, and advocacy. Supporting and amplifying Latinas and women of color in professional spaces isn’t just important—it’s necessary. These gatherings have pushed me to reflect, challenge myself, and embrace leadership in a way that aligns with my values. I’m grateful for this community and excited to keep learning, growing, and empowering others along the way. #WomenInLeadership #Allyship #LatinasInTheWorkplace #LeadershipGrowth

Building Community, One Cafecito at a Time ?? Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Cafecito & Connection with The Poderosas! ?? ?? There’s something special about sharing stories, laughter, and ambition over a warm cup of coffee with a community of strong, inspiring Latinas. It’s empowering to be in a space where we uplift each other, exchange ideas, and strengthen our networks—not just professionally, but personally. Grateful for these moments of connection and support. #ThePoderosas #LatinaNetworking #CommunityMatters
