    Founder and CEO at?? Pitchfire

In the 1940s, elevators started to become automated. You’d think people would be thrilled—no more waiting for an operator to press buttons for them! 15 minute smoke breaks, and no control. Yet, the people resisted. They didn't trust an elevator without an operator, fearing it would malfunction, fall, or trap them. Office workers protested, and some building owners even hired actors to stand in elevators pretending to “operate” the buttons, just to calm people’s nerves. It wasn’t until 1966, when a transit strike in New York City forced people to use automated elevators that opinions began to shift. Once people realized the technology was safe and reliable, they accepted it—and the world never looked back. So what's the point of the story. We fear change, even if it's for the better. I'm looking for people who don't.

"I don't want to pay money to send sales pitches to my prospects...if my prospect has a pain, they'll talk to me...if they don't ...they won't" This take is complete bullshit. Most of your prospects won't even look past the first sentence of your outreach. They aren't ignoring you because they don't have pain. They are ignoring you because prospects don't hang out in their inbox all day. They don't answer your cold call because your not saved in their contacts on their phone. And unless they work in sales, recruiting, or marketing, they don't hang out on waiting for inMails on Linkedin. Now...let's get the important part... if you are one of those people who has thought of the quote above... if you don't want to pay your prospect to respond to you... let the people prospecting your company pay them instead. Apply to get into our marketplace and you can let people selling into your company fund your prospecting on Pitchfire. If you want to start adding those funds... get our Chrome plugin installed and send every seller to us. I gotta go get a hair brush. Talk to you later.

I was wrong about Pitchfire. This announcement is super important...so important, I had to set up two cameras to tell you. I know a lot of you in the sales space are rolling your eyes at what we're doing...I see some of you out there ??. But cold prospecting is changing. It's time for a new beginning in sales prospecting. We have a vision of a world where cold prospecting isn't done over email, Linkedin, or on a cold call. It's done somewhere specifically built for it. And when a sales person actually does a prospecting touch, they assume most prospects will see it, and respond. All these providers can keep putting lipstick on a pig... sales tools can keep building products that make it easier for you to spam...and kill the novelty of personalization...but more volume and buying data isn't the answer. Pitchfire is. In one year, we've recruited a sample size over 2200 B2B professionals... they have stopped hundreds of thousands of follow pitches from sales people, and we've helped them collect over thousands answering sales pitches. The problem is...stopping sales emails, Linkedin messages, and cold calls is a "nice to have." Getting paid to answer sales pitches is just a bonus dopamine hit. That's not the big breakthrough with Pitchfire. This is where I was wrong. The real problem with everything in B2B technology right now is pipeline. Pipeline is why VCs won't give any of you money. Pipeline is why you aren't growing in B2B. Pipeline is why you are doing layoffs and missing your number. 87% of you have told me you don't have enough of it. This is what we discovered. You can build pipeline 74X more effectively on Pitchfire than traditional prospecting, and 94% cheaper than what you spend to get there today. No spams, no unsubscribes, and no more additional marketing costs to retarget these people. This video charts where we're heading, how it'll impact you if use us right now. Pitchfire is going to turn into a private B2B marketplace where companies build pipeline by exchanging access to each others’ teams. If you want your team to sell on Pitchfire, your company will have join Pitchfire. Not everyone will be accepted, but you'll find out if you work at a B2B company that sells to other B2B companies, you may qualify to have your company in it. Interview with us to see. Thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far. #sales #marketing #b2b #announcement

Hey Everyone, ? I know most of us hate getting cold prospected by businesses. We have a crazy idea...so crazy I thought I'd post it here on the company Linkedin... There are over 300+ data providers that sell your mobile number, email, and other data to sales teams. They literally are monetizing your existence. ..without your permission. If we offered a paid version of Pitchfire that removed you and your colleagues from these data providers, would you or your company pay for it? If so who? What do you think of this idea? Comment below... Thanks, Ryan O'Hara

Co-Founder & CEO @ AssetMule | Building a bridge between marketing and sales

By far my favorite part of Inbound (and conference season in general) has been getting to meet amazing friends from LinkedIn IRL for the first time. Some highlights for me from Inbound 2024… ? Hanging with the incredible Air Traffic Control team. Julia Winn and Nick Zeckets are just the best. If ABM is a part of your GTM, you need to connect with them. ? Meeting up with Ryan O'Hara Jon Mazza ?? and the Pitchfire team. As a former SDR leader and someone who now receives a ton of outbound emails as a Founder/CEO, I love what these guys are doing. They also have the best and funniest content on LinkedIn and are just incredible human beings. ? Connecting with Sudharshan Karthik ?? and Charanyan Venkataraghavan ?? from RevenueHero. These guys are crushing it. As a founder, being able to chat with those ahead of you, hear their story, and get their advice is gold. ? Seeing Tamara Grominsky and Rebecca Shaddix map out the best practices of GTM. This was by far my favorite session of Inbound. Strategic, actionable, filled with real world examples and stories. Hit all the marks. ? Bumping into Kate Campbell from one of my favorite SaaS podcasts, The Don't Be A SaaS Podcast, and being able to give Adam O'Brien mad FOMO. Jk we wish you were here dude! ? Getting to sit down with Matthew Bellows, a true Sales Tech legend. I was at Inbound 13 years ago, saw Matthew pitch Yesware, and fell in love with what they were doing and sales/marketing tech in general. Amazing to be able to go full circle and get his incredibly valuable feedback and advice on what we’re doing at AssetMule. ? Bouncing ideas of Anne Gherini. An incredible marketing mind. Getting her perspective from both sides of the table—a marketing exec and now an investor—was so incredibly valuable. My mind is still spinning with ideas. And so many more amazing people and conversations than I can mention in a short(ish) LinkedIn post. As always, my partner in crime Jorge Soto was doing his thing. See highlights and more great people below! Thank you HubSpot. Thank you Boston. See you next year!
