This wouldn't have been possible if we didn't have outstanding talent inside the company and extremely capable partners alongside us. I've seen so much hustle, tenacity and passion from this group. The Pickleball World Cup in Peru was probably the best pickleball event I've been to. This was a 32-team format, with groups coming from all over the world to compete in Lima. USA Mexico Czech Republic The energy was electric. People were playing this sport that they love AND representing their country. It doesn’t get much better than that. The experience gave me a vision of what our sport could be on the global stage. And got back thinking about the Olympics in 2036, and if we can be ready by then. Personally, I believe we can. Something else that come to the forefront for me in Peru was the sense of responsibility I feel for this community now. We can help develop the countries that are where we were 5 years ago. They’re playing in rec centers and churches on makeshift courts. I remember that time well! And we’ve built the playbook to evolve the sport organically from there. I feel fired up for the global mission! Huge props to Hercilio and Miranda Cabieses, the brother and sister team who puts the event on. Man, I love this community.
