Meet the Team ?? VP of People, Madison Walker Where are you from? Salt Lake City, UT Career highlights? I was honored to be nominated for the 2023 Utah Business HR Achievement Award. Being part of The Picklr and witnessing its incredible transformation and growth since I joined in August 2023 has been an amazing experience. What do you do for fun? I love spending time with my family, which includes my three little girls. These days, much of our time is dedicated to cheer competitions and other sports and activities. When we're not at our kids' events, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, playing pickleball, trying different restaurants and foods, and staying active with workouts! Fun fact about you that’s not known by many? I spent part of my childhood on a cattle ranch. During the week, we lived in Salt Lake, but on weekends, we headed to our ranch in Price, UT, where we managed a large herd of cattle. It was an incredible way to grow up! Why did you choose The Picklr? I had been following The Picklr for some time, having previously worked with our CEO, Jorge, at a tech company. Around that time, I had also started playing pickleball and came across the HR job posting. I immediately jumped at the opportunity to apply, knowing the company was growing and had great potential. When I joined, The Picklr was still in its early stages, and I loved the idea of shaping the company culture from the ground up.
