Increase workplace diversity by increasing the diversity of business school faculty
关于我们
It’s time to rethink traditional approaches to workplace diversity and inclusion. Despite decades of good intentions, too many efforts have fallen short. At The PhD Project, we're charting a different course, working to build a more diverse workforce by targeting the most reliable source of great leaders: America’s business schools. By creating a more diverse population of business PhDs, we are transforming business education – and transforming business – for everyone. We are a growing community of educators, students, and business leaders who share our conviction that meeting the challenge of building diversity in our workforce demands the same qualities that have built the American economy: innovation, entrepreneurialism, and determination. Through conferences, mentoring, and networking, we encourage and support diverse candidates on their journey to acquiring a PhD. We are a critical bridge between businesses and our alumni PhDs and their students, providing connections to high-potential recruits. With demonstrated success in creating more diverse business faculty, we are doing more than transforming the face of business education. We are inspiring new generations of future leaders, bringing diversity to our workforce, and creating a better world for all of us.

Always great to see a PhD Project member thriving in their role! Be sure to check out Assistant Marketing Professor Dr. Aziza Jones of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, who shares how effective marketing can support marginalized communities and create a more equitable society. ? #ThePhDProjectTurns30 #IAmAPhDProjectPearl #ThePhDProject #EnrichingEducationForAll #MakingADifference #BuildingDiversityTogether #RepresentationMatters
Marketing is where creativity meets conscience—and today, brands have the power to drive real change. More than just selling products, they can turn the marketplace into a force for progress, using the power of promotion to shape a better, more equitable world. Assistant professor Aziza Jones reveals how consumers silently express their values—championing social causes and marginalized communities through their buying decisions. Her research empowers marketers to connect with these choices, harnessing them to lead the charge toward a more just and equitable society. See how. ?? https://lnkd.in/gq8bMnH5 #TrustedToLead
