Today, I couldn't be prouder of two of our neighbors at The Other Side Village who have overcome opioid addiction and are now using their experiences to inspire change. They had the incredible opportunity to represent The Other Side Village before the Utah State Legislature Social Services Appropriations Subcommittee, sharing their journeys of resilience, recovery, and the power of a supportive community. Their stories are living proof that whole-person transformation is possible when people are given the right environment, accountability, and support. This is why The Other Side Village exists—to empower individuals to reclaim their lives and become advocates for change. Grateful for their courage, the leaders who took the time to listen, and all who continue to support solutions that make a real difference.
