Reflecting on a Successful Take A Child to Work Day On Thursday, May 2, Fast Retailing hosted our annual Take A Child to Work Day, one of the most anticipated days of the year for both parents and children. This year, the children had a great time exploring the world of fashion and learning about the artistry and innovation behind our brands. The day began with a tour of our NY Flagship Uniqlo store located in Soho, followed by breakfast and family portraits in our café. The children also got to experience the Design and Innovation Center, participate in a design craft activity, and receive a tour and demonstration in the fabric cutting room. We all enjoyed a delicious lunch on our roof while soaking in the sunshine. Remarked parent and Director of Employment Law and Legal, Okechi Ibeabuchi, “My children see me work hard, but they don’t really understand what I do or what the company does. Giving them the opportunity to experience the store setting, the design and visual teams allow them to explore new areas. My hope, even though they are only 5 and 6 years old, is that they are inspired to be creative and feel free to express themselves.” The day was filled with laughter, learning, and inspiration, laying the foundation for potential future leaders in fashion. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day memorable!
