We’re thrilled to be partnering with our long-standing client?Luther College on converting their Regents Center gymnasium into the Gerdin Fieldhouse for Athletics and Wellness. Although our work began in August, the gym remained open until late February, when, after a resounding victory for the Norse women’s basketball team in the first round of the American Rivers Conference Tournament, the lights were turned off for the last time. ? While working together on Storz Warehouse in Omaha, Neb., GreenSlate Development introduced us to Heart Ministry Center and their Fresh Start workforce development program. GreenSlate is a longtime supporter of Heart Ministry, and after seeing the nonprofit’s powerful work with people living in poverty, we became a supporter, too. In fact, the #OpusFoundation recently provided the Heart Ministry Center with a $75,000 grant to continue to grow their digital literacy program, a program the Foundation helped pilot with a $50,000 grant in 2023. Grace McGuire has been promoted to Manager, Real Estate Development. Grace joined us in 2023, bringing with her a background in commercial real estate brokerage. She is currently working on multiple industrial projects across the Twin Cities including River Valley Business Park (Shakopee, MN), Dayton Parkway Business Center (Dayton, MN) and Johnny Cake Business Center (Apple Valley, MN). Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management & Data Analytics from the University of St. Thomas and is a member of the Minnesota Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association; and the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors.
