As the President of #SportsLicensing, you will play a critical role in the growth and success of our company. You will be responsible for securing #licenses from every #sports league, team, school, and company/brand, enabling us to create products, collaborate with partners, and expand our brand's presence. Your efforts will also be essential in obtaining streaming licenses for our platform, developing a sports news website, and launching a betting platform, among other future projects. ??Remote (NYC, D.C., or Michigan) ??Salary: $750K to $2.5M ??Key Responsibilities: - Lead the acquisition of licenses from sports leagues, teams, schools, and brands to create products and collaborations for our store/brand. - Negotiate and secure streaming licenses to host live games and events on our streaming platform. - Collaborate with internal teams to develop and launch a sports news website. - Oversee the creation and development of a betting platform, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. - Build and maintain strong relationships with sports organizations, teams, and brand partners to facilitate ongoing collaboration and licensing opportunities. - Identify and evaluate new licensing opportunities to support future projects and initiatives. - Work closely with the marketing, legal, and business development teams to ensure that all licensing agreements align with our strategic goals and objectives. - Stay informed about industry trends, legal developments, and competitive activity in the sports licensing space. - Travel as needed to meet with partners, negotiate deals, and attend industry events. ??Qualifications: - Proven experience in sports licensing, business development, or a related field, with a strong track record of securing high-value licenses and partnerships. - In-depth knowledge of the sports industry, including key players, organizations, and trends. - Strong negotiation skills with the ability to navigate complex licensing agreements. - Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
