This winter, National Grid Foundation awarded $1.3 million to United Way of Massachusetts Bay , United Way of Central Massachusetts, and Cape & Islands United Way to provide emergency heating and financial assistance to families in need across the region. We were honored to host this great announcement in Chelsea on Monday to celebrate this partnership, alongside United Way partners, state and local leaders, and the community organizations working together to ensure all families have what they need. A big thank you to everyone who has stepped up to support our communities this winter. A special thanks to our community partners La Colaborativa, @ACTLawrence, @LawrenceCommunityWorks @EastBostonSocialCenters, @CatholicCharitiesBoston, and others for the important work you do every day.

I’m thrilled to share that The Neighborhood Developers/CONNECT has officially partnered with Live Nation Entertainment to create seasonal employment opportunities for the local workforce during the 2025 concert season at Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston’s Seaport! This partnership is about seasonal work; it’s also about opening employment and economic mobility opportunities for local residents just looking for a chance. The most exciting part? Candidates for most of these roles do not need to demonstrate English proficiency, and pay ranges from $24 to $25 hourly. ? Opportunities Include: ? Event Cleaners ?? ? Event Cleaner Supervisors ?? ? Overnight Cleaners ?? A huge thank you to Emmie and Fitz from LiveNation for their incredible partnership and support in crafting this agreement. Your openness to have a conversation and see the opportunity is deeply appreciated. Planning for hiring fairs next month is underway. Here, conditional job offers will be made on-site and on-the-spot. The 2025 season kicks off in May and goes through October, with paid training beginning in April. I can’t wait to share more soon.
