Join us this Friday at 12 PM Eastern Time on the “Dyslexia Success Stories!” podcast for a special episode featuring Theresa Sterling, an experienced literacy practitioner and advocate for evidence-based reading interventions. With years of experience managing a volunteer-based adult literacy program within a library setting, Theresa recognized firsthand the challenges of traditional adult literacy methods - they were boring, outdated, not very effective and most adults did not make a lot of progress. Seeking a genuinely effective solution, Theresa heard Dr. Tim Conway present on the research, theory and data on the NOW! Foundations for Speech, Language, Reading & Spelling? program. She wondered if THIS could be the highly effective, engaging for adults, efficient in helping them make gains and the truly scientifically tested and proven program she was looking for? In this informative episode, Theresa will discuss the unique challenges in trying to find scientifically proven adult literacy programs and the powerful opportunities that exist from shifting adult literacy programs toward randomized controlled trials (RCT) evidence-based, and a highly effective literacy instruction program. Yes, all of that just means RCT evidence is the "gold standard" proof that a program really works, which most literacy programs unfortunately, do not meet the definition of. Theresa shares invaluable insights into how she successfully trained a team of volunteer tutors, overcame programmatic obstacles, secured essential funding, and educated key decision-makers on why they should change to this new and RCT evidence-based effective NOW! Foundations program for adults. Theresa will also share impactful stories about adult learners who have dramatically improved their literacy skills, confidence, and life opportunities through the NOW! program. Do you think literacy can be "life saving"? Hear Theresa share one harrowing story of an older adult who could not read and had decided to attend the free library adult literacy services and if the adult did not learn to read, then ending their life was probably going to be their next step - talk about a LOT of pressure on a VOLUNTEER literacy tutor and Theresa! Wait until you hear how this story of a potentially suicidal illiterate adult turned out. If you're an educator, administrator, volunteer, or advocate wondering how to effectively address adult dyslexia and adult illiteracy challenges that are commonly caused by poor or lack of instruction, then this episode offers practical wisdom, heartfelt anecdotes, and real-world solutions that demonstrate how volunteer-driven programs CAN implement RCT evidence-based literacy programs like, NOW! Foundations, and truly transform lives! YES! Literacy IS "Life Saving!" Tune in to learn how Theresa Sterling made powerful literacy outcomes possible for adults for FREE with a volunteers based system and the unparalleled power of an RCT evidence-based instructional program!

Dyslexic Teenagers - Is It Too Late To Empower Their Skills? Is listening to books on tape really the best we can do? What if we have peer-reviewed, NICHD funded RCT's showing we CAN empower literacy skills like this teenager has experienced? Should we rely on technology to accommodate, compensate or support them through life? What do actual Dyslexic teens say about reliance on accommodations - supports - "special" services - or listening to audio books because you cannot read, not because you want to listen to an audio book? Parents, are you still watching your child struggle in High School with poor reading accuracy, "I hate reading" opinions (aka I can't read, so I hate it), poor spelling, poor grammar and writing skills, or even great reading skills, but "it goes in one ear and out the other!" comprehension struggles? Then NOW! Programs? are here to help make "life changing" (i.e. that is our most common report from parents and teenagers) improvements for your teenager. NO, it's not too late. NOW! Programs even empowers professionals who are adults. Meet a teenager who up to age 16 he still could not read. Was his brain the problem? Scientific research says NO, all Dyslexic brains can be empowered with strong literacy, language, learning and reading and spelling skills. Schedule a gratis consultation with our expert intake team who are also parents and they know what you have experienced with years of frustrations from empty promises from programs based on phonics that are like building the house from the 2nd story up and really do not address the true cause of the reading and spelling difficulties. www.NOWprograms.com

How long did it take Carlota, (6 years before this video, when she was a 12 year old with bilingual dyslexia), to realize that something was different this time? How long until she realized she may be making progress? Somehow, her brain was beginning to make new connections and successfully learn new skills. When did she realize the road to empowering her reading & spelling & much more had finally begun?? This is another example of the 39 years of #DyslexiaSuccess from #DyslexiaScience for only $70/hour at The Morris Center Ocala, FL for SLP, OT, Psych, Educational lessons and much more brain scientists’ expertise to #EmpowerDyslexia and other learning challenges too. Can you imagine for only $50/hour to transform your child, teen or young adult with a team of highly trained experts who empower literacy, language, learning, spelling, writing, comprehension & memory, sensory motor skills, attention/focus, mood/behavior improvements, executive functions and so much more. How is that possible? The Morris Centre Trinidad and Tobago (TMCTT) has a transdicsiplinary trained team of school psychology, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, recreational therapy, educators and special ed and neuropsychology. This team is backed by 39 years of The Morris Center’s expertise in successful empowerment for a wide range of learning difficulties, eg Neurodevelopmental Disorders. What does successful empowerment look like after only 2-6 months of TMCTT services? How about these success stories for example: https://lnkd.in/dxeV7ZtF Here each of the students who empowered their skills / abilities and academic accomplishments (e.g., earning school improvement awards, graduating with honors, bachelor degrees, master degrees and much more) explains to you directly what skills they empowered, how much and how they used their stonger skills to choose and accomplish their own goals: https://lnkd.in/dRnyAYqn

Empowering a company culture around the mission of “we make life changing impacts” and fostering that culture to deeply resonate with The Morris Centre Trinidad and Tobago’s (TMCTT) teachers, healthcare professionals (SLP, OT, Psych) and all staff members is essential for an effective organization. Providing these empowered staff with highly effective, scientifically tested and proven programs gives them the actual tools to consistently achieve our mission of “we make life changing impacts.” Yet, the real evidence that you have a winning combination of the right culture & powerful programs is when your clients want to “tell the world” about how deeply your team and your programs together have empowered their child to speak, to engage and to bring joy and love to their family. Over 10 years ago, The Morris Center in GNV/Ocala FL empowered 20 children who traveled with their families from Trinidad and Tobago to seek The Morris Center’s highly effective, RCT evidence based dyslexia remediation, and TMC’s other research-based & empowering services. In April 2016, a local Trinidad professional told Dr. Conway that they must have their own The Morris Center clinic in Trinidad & Tobago. Yes, there were far more than 20 children who needed access to this powerful team and programs within a The Morris Center clinic. Uncharacteristic of the Caribbean, that idea of a TMCTT clinic was discussed in April 2016 and a fully renovated, fully furnished, fully staffed and fully trained team of only local Trini professionals (SLP, OT & Psych), and before it opened The Morris Centre Trinidad and Tobago was fully booked; TMCTT opened in Sept 2016. In five months, from April to Sept 2016, these local professionals and community leaders joined forces with Dr Tim Conway, PhD to bring a powerful & empowering The Morris Centre Trinidad and Tobago program to benefit the children, teens and adults of their beautiful Caribbean country. NOTE TMCTT services are $50.00 USD per hour. SLP, OT, Psych & more = $50/hr. 30% TMCTT clients are from USA, UK & others. Never underestimate what you can accomplish with the right culture, scientifically proven programs and empassioned people on a mission to make “life changing!” impacts that last for generations. May you continue to pursue your passion with your team and achieving your mission - together we empower the world’s culture and its people! What secondary & generational impacts occurred since Dr Conway & the Trinidad team did the unexpected, unsolicited & unreasonable request to open The Morris Centre Trinidad and Tobago?? ???? See the comments below how Archbishop Jason Gordon & his Dyslexia were empowered, how Jean-Luc’s life was forever empowered, what John Jude has done since his empowering services from TMCTT, where is Olivia today more than 5 years after her successful empowerment of her Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia,…. The #LifeChanging stories from #DyslexiaScience at TMC clinics in FL & TT are EMPOWERING!
