The solution is comprised of modular furniture components that include a built-in multi-user, high-performance breast pump and single-use parts that come pre-assembled and pre-sterilized, ready for immediate use. With MilkMate, breast pumping employees are required to bring nothing with them to work, offering a more seamless, sensible breast-pumping experience. Yesterday was an energizing and inspiring day spent at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth! Our founder & CEO, Patrice Hayden Meagher, joined Tuck on campus for a day filled of impactful events in celebration of MilkMate's installation at the school last month. Events included Patrice participating in a Q&A panel for current students - speaking about her career trajectory & entrepreneurial journey, attending the Tiny Tuck Halloween Parade, and closing out with a ribbon cutting reception with school leaders and deans. We knew Tuck was an incredible place to work / study, but the day reaffirmed just how incredible this institution is and how much their care about their community. As the first higher education institution to embrace MilkMate, Tuck is truly leading the charge in terms of supporting their working and studying parents. We couldn't be more grateful or proud to have them as a partner and champion! Special shout out and thanks to Gina Cirrincione and Steve Lubrano for their incredible support throughout and for making this day happen - and to all of the other leaders / students / community members who joined in on events! 3 Companies Every Organization Should Know About to Support Their #WorkingMoms Seventeen years ago today, I became a #mom (HBD, Carter ??). And while becoming a parent was one of the most life-changing experiences, there was one thing that was even harder: figuring out how to stay in the workforce during the early years of parenting. When I went back to work: - I didn’t have company-provided leave. I was back after just 12 weeks. - There was nowhere to pump; the only option was the shared bathroom sitting on a toilet. - There was no flexibility in my schedule. - No one at work knew how to support me. It was, without a doubt, the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I cried every day. My marriage was strained, and I was barely surviving. Today, there are companies leading the way that would have changed everything for me back then.
